Chinese New Year: The Awakening of Nian

For the first time, Dynasty of Loki celebrates the Chinese New Year — a new cycle of luck, prosperity, and renewal.

To protect this turning point, Loki blessed special lanterns, used to keep away Nian, a creature that feeds on the chaos of the old year.

This year, however, the ritual was interrupted.

Nian attacked before the celebration and stole the lanterns, breaking the protection and threatening the luck of the new year. With each lantern in its possession, the creature grows stronger.

Now, there is only one way: recover the lanterns.
Each one weakens Nian and restores the protection.

Event Duration

The Chinese New Year Event will take place from the 21st (00:00) until the 22nd (23:59).

How to Participate

This event has two participation mechanics:

Global Drop (Field Hunting)

∙ During the event, monsters across the continent will drop Red Envelope Lv. I.
∙ To receive the drops, the event must be activated using the command /event.

World Boss — Nian

∙ Warriors who participate in the battle against Nian will help recover the Red Lanterns.
∙ These lanterns represent the protection of the new year and appear after Nian is defeated.
∙ Only players who actively participate in the battle will be able to collect them.

Event Rules

∙ Only 1 account per IP is allowed.
∙ The global drop will only be active while the event is running.

The Battle Against Nian

After gathering enough blessings, the warriors will be summoned to face Nian, the creature that feeds on the chaos of the old year.

∙ The invitation will arrive by letter, but only players who have activated the event through the /event command will receive it.
∙ Upon accepting, the player will be transported to the special event area.
∙ Defeating Nian is essential to recover the Red Lanterns and restore the protection of the new year.

Battle Rewards

∙ Red Lantern: after Nian is defeated, the Red Lanterns will appear on the ground in the event area and must be collected manually.
∙ Final Blow Reward (KS): the player who deals the final blow will automatically receive Red Envelope Lv. III in their inventory.
∙ Collection Time: after Nian’s death, there will be 10 seconds to collect the items on the ground.
∙ Respawn: Nian returns every 30 minutes, ready to challenge the warriors again.

By right-clicking a Red Lantern, the player will receive a random reward from the list below:

Rewards – Red Envelope (Lv. I to V)

Red Envelopes are progressive event items, ranging from Lv. I to Lv. V.

∙ By right-clicking a Red Envelope, the player will receive a random amount of Gold.
∙ The higher the Red Envelope level, the greater the amount of Gold obtained.
∙ When opening an envelope, there is a chance to obtain the next Red Envelope level.

Red Envelope Lv. V – Special Reward

∙ By right-clicking a Red Envelope Lv. V, in addition to random Gold, the player will also have a chance to receive one of the following special items:
