Across Midgard, forgotten symbols carved by gods, giants, and ancient kings have begun to shine once again. The gates of the Nine Realms are opening, releasing forces that have remained sealed since the age of legends.

With this imbalance, the roots of Yggdrasil, the World Tree, have been marked by an ancestral blight.

Blighted sprouts are now emerging across the battlefield, carrying dark energy from the depths of the World Tree. What once represented life, balance, and the connection between the realms has become a sign of decay.

From the weakened roots, a legendary threat awakens:

Nidhogg, the Root Devourer.

The ancient creature that feeds upon Yggdrasil has sensed the weakening of the realms and now draws power from the blighted energy flowing through the World Tree.

This is the beginning of Twilight of the Gods — The Blight of Yggdrasil.

How to Participate

Find Skoll, Loki’s Herald

Skoll, the Black Fenrir and loyal herald of Loki, has appeared in Armia.

Marked by ancient runic energy, Skoll constantly moves throughout the city and never remains in the same place for long.

Click Skoll to be recognized as a Twilight Challenger.

By interacting with him, you will be transported to the Twilight Battlefield, a region affected by the opening of the Nine Realms, where Blighted Yggdrasil Sprouts continuously emerge and Nidhogg waits beneath the roots of the World Tree.

Inside the Twilight Battlefield

Two main activities define the event:

A) Purify the Blighted Yggdrasil Sprouts — Offline Progression

Blighted Yggdrasil Sprouts have begun to emerge throughout the Twilight Battlefield.

Born from the roots of the World Tree, these sprouts once represented life, balance, and the connection between the realms. However, with the opening of the gates of the Nine Realms, their divine energy has been marked by an ancestral blight.

Challengers must attack these sprouts to release the energy accumulated within them and prevent the blight from spreading deeper through the roots of Yggdrasil.

By attacking the Blighted Yggdrasil Sprouts, you can obtain Blighted Boxes, sealed boxes infused with the dark energy of the Twilight.

The system registers a maximum of 1 hit per second.

With Sylph:
Receive [01] Blighted Box I every 300 hits.

Without Sylph:
 Receive [01] Blighted Box I every 500 hits.

B) Defeat Nidhogg — The Root Devourer

During the event, Nidhogg will appear in the Twilight Battlefield every 30 minutes.

The ancient creature feeds upon the roots of the World Tree, weakening Yggdrasil and threatening the balance between all realms.

To receive the participation reward, you must deal at least 1 hit to Nidhogg.

The player who lands the final hit on Nidhogg will also receive the following additional reward:

After Nidhogg is defeated, all nearby players will be automatically returned to the city.

Blighted Boxes

Blighted Boxes obtained during the event can be opened with right-click to receive a random reward.

Each level has its own reward pool and may grant a Blighted Box of the next level.
