Midwinter – The Awakening of Eira

During Midwinter, winter reaches its peak in Midgard, and ancient Ice Crystals emerge throughout the world, accumulating primordial winter energy.

With this imbalance, Eira, the Ice Wolf of Midgard, awakens.
Her howl echoes across the frozen lands, testing the strength of those who dare to face the winter.

Summoned by Skoll, the Black Fenrir and herald of Loki, challengers enter the Midwinter Battlefield to contain the crystals and confront Eira before the cold consumes Midgard.

Winter has arrived.
Eira awaits.

How to Participate
Find Skoll, Loki’s Herald

Skoll, the Black Fenrir and loyal messenger of Loki, has appeared in Armia.
Imposing and constantly on the move, he never stays in the same place.

Click Skoll to be recognized as a Midwinter Challenger.
By interacting with him, you will be transported to the Midwinter Battlefield, a frozen region of Midgard where Ice Crystals continuously emerge and Eira awaits.

Inside the Midwinter Battlefield

Three main activities define the event:

A) Break the Ice Crystals — Offline Progression

Scattered across the battlefield, Ice Crystals regenerate continuously.
By attacking them, you obtain Cursed Gifts, fragments of corrupted winter energy.

With Sylph: receive 1x Cursed Gift I every 300 hits
Without Sylph: receive 1x Cursed Gift I every 500 hits

B) Defeat Eira — The Ice Wolf of Midgard

When winter energy reaches its peak, Eira manifests on the battlefield.
A colossal wolf formed of eternal ice, whose howl freezes the surrounding air.

Active mechanic: you must attack the boss to receive rewards.
Deal at least 1 hit to receive 1x Cursed Gift II.
The player who lands the final hit also receives 1x Cursed Gift III as a special drop.
After Eira is defeated, all nearby players are automatically returned to the city.

C) Loki’s Gifts — Random Rewards

At random times, Loki’s Gifts will appear in Niffelheim and will be announced in-game.
